About Microsoft Dynamics

CRM that lives where your team already works.

If your business runs on Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 has a natural advantage: it lives inside the tools your team already uses every day, from Outlook and Teams to Excel and Power BI.

We implement Dynamics to make the most of that integration, connecting CRM with operations and the Power Platform for a genuinely unified way of working.

Who is it for?

Who It's Built For. Who Should Look Elsewhere.

Dynamics 365 has a natural advantage for businesses already running on Microsoft 365 - it lives inside the tools your team uses every day and brings CRM and operations together. Outside the Microsoft world, that advantage fades.

A great fit when…
  • You are heavily invested in Microsoft 365 and want CRM native to Outlook, Teams and Excel
  • You want CRM and ERP or operations brought together under one connected platform
  • You value the Power Platform for extending and automating with low-code tools
  • Enterprise-grade security, compliance and Azure integration are priorities
Maybe not when…
  • You are not a Microsoft-centric business - the integration advantage is the main reason to choose it
  • You want a lightweight, fast-to-deploy CRM rather than a broad, configurable platform
  • You are a very small team without the appetite for Dynamics' setup and licensing complexity
  • You prioritise out-of-the-box simplicity over depth and extensibility

What it costs

Dynamics 365 pricing, in plain terms.

Dynamics 365 is modular and priced per app, per user, which gives real flexibility but also several moving parts. Here is how it fits together, so you can budget with your eyes open. We help you size the right apps, licences and seats before you commit.

1

You licence individual apps, not one suite

Dynamics 365 is a family of apps - Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Business Central and more. You licence the ones you actually need, so the first decision is which apps map to how your business runs, not just which price tier.

2

Per-user, and the licence type matters

Most apps are priced per user, per month, but a full (Enterprise) licence differs from a lighter one. The right mix of full and lighter licences across your team avoids paying for capability nobody uses.

3

Attach pricing lowers the second app

Your team’s first full app is priced at the base rate; additional qualifying apps for the same user are discounted as “attach” licences. Planning who needs which apps together can materially reduce the per-head cost.

4

Team Members and Power Platform add-ons

Light “Team Member” licences suit read-mostly users, while Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI may carry their own cost. We flag these up front so the figure on the invoice is the one you expected.

We help you licence only the apps and seats you’ll use.

Because we are vendor-agnostic, we have no reason to talk you into more apps, higher licences or bigger add-ons than you need. We map the apps and licence types to how you actually work and flag every add-on cost up front.

Microsoft sets and revises its own pricing, and it varies by app, licence type and add-ons, so we have kept this section free of figures that quickly date. For current pricing, see microsoft.com/dynamics365/pricing, or ask us for an indicative cost based on the apps and team size you need.

Common questions

Dynamics 365 questions, answered.

The things UK SMEs ask us most before choosing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and bringing us in to set it up properly.

How much does Dynamics 365 cost?
Dynamics 365 is licensed per user, per month, by application (Sales, Customer Service and others), with reduced pricing for additional apps once you hold a base licence. The right cost depends on the apps and number of users you need, which we size with you before you commit.
Do we need to be a Microsoft business to use it?
It works best if you already run Microsoft 365, because it lives inside Outlook, Teams, Excel and the Power Platform. If you do, Dynamics feels native and the integration advantage is significant.
How long does a Dynamics implementation take?
A focused Sales setup can be live in three to five weeks. Larger projects with multiple apps, migration, Power Platform work and integrations typically run six to twelve weeks depending on complexity. We scope it realistically up front.
Can you migrate our data and connect our systems?
Yes. We migrate contacts, accounts, opportunities and history with cleaning and de-duplication, and connect Dynamics to Microsoft 365, finance and the wider stack so data flows as one.
Can Dynamics be tailored to our process?
Extensively. Through configuration, Power Automate flows and Power Apps, Dynamics can be shaped closely around how you work, and extended with custom capability where needed.
Why use a consultant rather than doing it ourselves?
Dynamics is deep and connects to a lot. We design it around your real process, keep it lean, wire it into your Microsoft world and get adoption right, so it delivers from day one and scales cleanly.
